Manchester United defender out till September

Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has given an update on the situation of some of our injured players, and confirmed Axel Tuanzebe will likely not play for the club until September.

The Manchester United manager gave the update while speaking during his pre-match conference on Friday, as we prepare to face Bournemouth on Saturday.

Commenting on injuries, Olé said: “Phil [Jones] and Axel [Tuanzebe] will still be out for a little while.

“It’ll be a few weeks before Phil can start training and Axel, we won’t probably see until September.”

Tuanzebe has had some ill luck with injuries this year, and will be keen to put it all behind him and get back to playing soon.

The 21 year old has suffered back to back injuries in the last two months, and was in the running to restart the league with the rest of the team before he was ruled out with his latest.
