Odion Ighalo has shed light on the traits that make him different from other forwards at Manchester United.
The Nigerian has been in sizzling form since completing a loan move from Shanghai Shenhua in January, and so far, has 5 goals in just four starts.
Speaking recently to United Review, the 31 year old said: “I think I bring different things to the strikers we have. I can play with my back to goal, I can keep the ball.
“I’m strong so it’s different, you know, and for the different games, we play different patterns and with different strategies.”
Ighalo has played second fiddle to Anthony Martial in the Premier League since his arrival in January, and largely due to the Frenchman’s impressive form this term.
However, the former Watford man has made sure to take his chances when they come, and remains a starter in the FA Cup and Europa League for now.
