Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has claimed he wouldn’t swap Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso for Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.

It was reported that Spurs had to sign the Argentine after missing out on the Portuguese.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he was asked whether he regrets not signing Bruno: “I don’t know anything about that, but if that is true, and if Giovani Lo Celso was the player that came to Spurs [instead of Bruno Fernandes], then I would say I wouldn’t change Giovani Lo Celso for any player.

“[I wouldn’t swap Lo Celso] for any player. It’s not just for Bruno, but for any player.”

Fernandes has scored 5 goals and managed 3 assists in 8 appearances, while Lo Celso is yet to score or assist in 21 appearances for Spurs.
