According to the Sun, Manchester United legend Roy Keane has been contacted to be manager of the Azerbaijan national football team. The report suggests that he’s in talks with Azerbaijan and is willing to get back into the managerial spotlight.
The Irishman is their first choice to take over as national team manager after their former coach Nikola Jurcevic left the job.
Azerbaijan are eager to appoint him as the FIFA ranked no.144 side have been placed in a competitive group in the UEFA Nations League, which starts in September.
Keane has had rather managerial stints at Sunderland, Ipswich Town, and Nottingham Forest.
