Olé Gunnar Solskjaer is confident Marcus Rashford will soon begin to score goals again, after the player’s long injury lay-off.
Rashford was away for months after sustaining a terrible injury earlier in the year, and looked set to miss the rest of the season had the league not been suspended.
During the lockdown, the Englishman took time to regain his fitness, and has already featured for United since the restart.
Speaking ahead of United’s trip to the Amex stadium, Olé said he’s confident Rashford will have one of his best seasons yet.
In his own words: “Of course Marcus has been out for a while, but I think he’s looked sharp.
“I think he came on and looked sharp again against Norwich. Sheffield United he did miss, yeah, one or two chances, but the goals he created, I think that is what we are focusing on and I think Marcus is on his way to his best season ever at Man United.
“So, for me, I’m just looking forward to him getting more and more minutes. He will definitely score a goal soon.”
United fans will surely be rooting for Rashy, when we visit Brighton on Tuesday, as he looks to pick up a 20th goal of the ongoing campaign.
