Manchester United’s push for a top four finish received a boost as the Red Devils beat Brighton 3-0 on Tuesday night at the Amex Stadium.

The victory over Brighton moved Manchester United to fifth place in the Premier League table, two points behind fourth placed Chelsea, who have a game in hand.

Mason Greenwood opened the scoring for Manchester United before Bruno Fernandes scored a brace to ensure United leave the Amex Stadium with all three points.

The victory over Brighton means Manchester United have extended our unbeaten run to 15 matches across all competitions (W11 D4); only Bayern Munich (25 games) are currently on a longer streak without defeat among all sides in Europe’s big five leagues.

Manchester United’s next game is against Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Saturday.
