Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes will leave the club at the end of the month.
The 19 year old attacker is out of contract at the club on Tuesday night and Solskjaer does not expect the forward to sign a new contract with the club.
“Got no news, nothing,” Solskjaer said when asked about the future of Gomes at the club.
“So doesn’t look like it. To be honest, I’ve not heard from them last night or this morning, it seems like they haven’t managed to agree so the answer is probably short and yes, then.”
Manchester United refused to negotiate a short-term extension until the end of the season with Gomes and will only be entitled to a compensation fee if he moves to another club.
Premier League rivals Chelsea and Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly interested in the forward.
