Man United boss Olé Gunnar Solskjaer, has praised his side and captain Harry Maguire, for the impact he had in the victory over Norwich City in the FA Cup on Saturday evening.
Sharing his thoughts on our goals and Maguire’s performance, the Norwegian said: “Two different goals, you’d expect the header to go in today but it was a fantastic save.
“Harry’s been magnificent since he’s been to the club, his leadership skills are there to be seen, he won every header and made every challenge.”
Odion Ighalo had given United the lead at Carrow Road, before a close range effort from Todd Cantwell put Norwich back into the game.
The match proceeded to extra time, and seemed to be headed for a penalty shootout, but Maguire was at the right place at the right time to smash in a poorly cleared ball into Tim Krull’s net, and effectively help us progress to the semi-finals.
