Manchester United seem to have agreed favourable terms with Shanghai Shenhua for the services of their striker, Jude Odion Ighalo.
According to Daily Mail, United will pay Shanghai Shenhua a total of £10.7 million for the Nigerian forward, which includes a £6 million loan fee, and £130k in weekly wages.
The report adds that Shanghai Shenhua is expected to pay a larger part of Ighalo’s wages, and the reason they agreed to our request to keep him for longer is to avoid paying the entire £300k weekly salary.
The loan deal was also aided by the ongoing travel restriction in China, which means that players abroad will not be allowed back in the Asian country for the time being.
Meanwhile, Ighalo will definitely be excited to finally be living his dream, and will be keen to continue the fine form that saw him score four in as many starts at Old Trafford.
