It seems that Bruno Fernandes, like the rest of us, is relishing the thought of playing alongside Paul Pogba in midfield.
Speaking to Mario Gjurovski, during an IG live session, the talented midfielder said he is keen to partner with Pogba in midfield, as it would be “fantastic”, and described the Frenchman as one of the best in the world.
He said: “I think Paul [Pogba] is one of the best players United have, in the world.
“The opportunity to play side-by-side with him will be fantastic because you want to play with the best players you can.”
Pogba has also had great things to say about Fernandes in the past, so it is good to know the two have mutual respect. `
Olé Gunnar Solskjaer has already paired them in the same group at training, in what is considered a litmus test of what he plans to do moving forward, and with the league set to come back in a matter of days, we are all keen to see how the gaffer shapes up his team.
