Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has named striker Marcus Rashford among the best young players in world football, along with club transfer targets Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland.
Both Bundesliga players have been sensational this season. Haaland has scored in 12 goals since joining Borussia Dortmund in January while Sancho has 14 goals and 16 assists this season.
Rashford had scored 18 times in all competitions this season.
Giggs has backed the trio to have great careers in this future.
“I’ve seen him coming through the ranks, such a talented player,” Giggs told Laureus.com of Marcus Rashford.
“And you have Jadon Sancho at Dortmund, a young player who’s made the bold decision to leave Manchester City and go to another country at a young age. And he really has made a difference.
“His team-mate as well, Erling Haaland who’s scoring lots of goals.”
He also talked about the young players in the Wales team: “And I’ve got a lot of good young players in my Wales team, the likes of David Brooks, Dan James and Ethan Ampadu.
“It’s great when you see young players burst onto the scene and they’re just fearless.
“They just don’t think too much about the game and just express themselves. And you think back to when you were like that.”
