Manchester United remain positive Marcus Rashford can one day, win the prestigious Ballon d’Or award, if he remains on the extraordinary path to growth and development he’s been on.
This is according to a report by Daily Mail, which says that this is one of the reasons the club isn’t pursuing a move for Tottenham striker, Harry Kane.
Having seen their contributions this season, the hierarchy at Old Trafford believes that Rashford and Mason Greenwood have what it takes to provide the goals for us, and will not try to scupper that.
Daily Mail adds that sources at Old Trafford are confident that Greenwood can become a first team regular in as soon as a year, and Anthony Martial can continue to thrive in the number nine position.
Our front three already have chemistry between them, which is essential if goals are to rain, and of course, with a playmaker like Bruno Fernandes in the side, the opportunities are boundless.
Already, Greenwood, Martial and Rashford are our top scorers this season, and will look to pick up from where they stopped when the Premier League season comes back alive in a few weeks.
