Aston Villa midfielder, Conor Hourihane, believes the coming summer transfer window will not be an easy one for his teammate, Jack Grealish.
Grealish’s eye for a good pass and great works with Villa have made him one of the most sought after players in Europe in recent times, with Manchester United reportedly leading the race for his signature.
Speaking to Sky Sports on his captain’s future, Hourihane said: “Jack’s obviously hugely-talented. He’s our talisman. He’s had a fantastic season and he’s been linked with so many clubs at the top of every league around Europe.
“Listen, it’s going to be a tough summer for Jack and a tough decision but, first and foremost, he keeps us up. That’s the most important thing for the football club.
“Then, whatever Jack decides to do, that’ll be up to himself. He deserves everything he gets.
“For me, he should be in that England squad because he’s got that something else nobody else has got, in my opinion.”
Olè Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be a strong admirer of Grealish, and is keen to bring him, along with Jadon Sancho and a defender to Old Trafford this summer.
But getting the player will cost a lot of money (£60 – £70 million), which a lot of clubs are trying to avoid amid the coronavirus-induced economic crisis.
