Former Manchester United coach José Mourinho, appears not to have gotten over his sour departure from the club in 2018…or so it seems.
The Portuguese manager recently linked up with Marca, and named the best 11 players he ever coached, and interestingly none of the players he worked with during his time at Manchester United made the cut.
Mourinho named 8 players from both his first and second stints at Chelsea as manager, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Javier Zanetti and Mesut Ozil the only players from other teams to make the list.
Cristiano Ronaldo obviously played for United before moving to Real Madrid, where he and Mourinho worked together, so he is the only one representing for United in some way, on the list.
Mourinho also worked with Ozil while he was manager at Madrid, and Zanetti was from his time at Inter Milan. The likes of Paul Pogba, Wayne Rooney, David De Gea, etc, who were important players for Mourinho at United didn’t get a mention in his 11.
The other players on Mourinho’s best 11 include, Claude Makelele, Ricardo carlvalho, William Gallas, John terry, Eden Hazard, Petr Cech, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba.
