According to ESPN FC, Manchester United are optimistic midfielder Paul Pogba will stay at the club beyond the next summer’s transfer window, despite the rumours surrounding his future at the club.

The player has constantly been linked with a summer move to Italian club Juventus and Spanish club Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old has been struggling with recurring ankle injuries and has featured in just only 8 of United’s 36 games so far and provided 2 assists.

So far the Frenchman has played 150 games, scored 31 goals, provided 31 assists, and won 2 trophies – the EFL Cup and the Europa League.
