Manchester United’s interest in Jadon Sancho has received yet another boost as Chelsea and Liverpool are also interested in the Englishman.
According to Evening Standard, Sancho is keen to come to Manchester United because of three players at the club.
Sancho reportedly has a good relationship with Marcus Rashford, whom he struck a rapport with during their time on duty for the English national team.
It is also believed that Sancho is a fan of Anthony Martial, who appears to have rediscovered his goalscoring touch, after a string of poor performances.
Finally, Mason Greenwood is also reported to be a player that Sancho is keen to work with because of his talent at just 18.
Jadon Sancho is valued at between £100 million to £120 million, meaning he will not be available for a cheap if he’s to leave Germany soon, and as Dortmund chief executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke, recently pointed out, they don’t want to lose their priced talent.
“I think he has the feeling that the club does have a good future,” Watzke told BBC Sport.
“In my opinion, I don’t think he wants to leave.
“We have a very confidential relationship between us and him and his agents, we will discuss it.
“It’s not a question of money. For us, it would be the best position if he stays at Borussia Dortmund.
“We have enough money. We want to have titles. I think this team has a lot more potential with Jadon than without Jadon.”
Whatever happens on this deal will not just depend on the clubs involved, but also on the ability of FIFA and the Premier League to find a way to work out modalities for transfers to take place, as coronavirus continues to threaten an extended football break around the world.
