Premier League all time top scorer Alan Shearer, has admitted he never imagined Bruno Fernandes had the level of arrogance he has shown so far in him, before he joined United.
Speaking to the BBC recently, Shearer revealed his admiration for the Portuguese and admitted his arrogance has given the club a lift in some way.
He said: “When you have got someone who comes into a football club with that arrogance in a good way it makes a difference.
“He has got the belief that he can turn things around and has certainly got the ability. Everyone else is reacting off of him.
“Whenever he gets that ball, United players are moving. I didn’t see that before he arrived in many United games.”
Bruno Fernandes showed his arrogance off the ball over the weekend when he gestured to Pep Guardiola to shush, as the City coach suggested we were wasting time.
Bruno Fernandes has been arguably our best player since his arrival, scoring three times and assisting three times.
