Solskjaer confirms three Manchester United players could miss Manchester derby

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all doubts for Sunday’s Premier League derby clash against crosstown rivals due to their respective injury issues.

“Well, he’s touch and go because he rolled his ankle but, hopefully, he’ll recover quickly,” the Norwegian told the pre-match press conference of Maguire on Thursday.

“I wasn’t going to rest him today, I didn’t give him a day off birthday-wise but I hope he’ll be fit.”

“I hope so, yes, but none of them have been training yet since the last game, so we’ve got to look at them on Saturday probably because tomorrow is a recovery day,” Ole added on James and Wan-Bissaka.

Captain Harry Maguire missed our FA Cup 3-0 victory over Derby County as well as James and Wan-Bissaka who haven’t been training since last weekend’s draw against Everton.

Daniel picked up a knock in the Brugge win last week and missed the Goodison Park trip while Aaron suffered a back injury against the Toffees.
