Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has urged the club to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. The former player has said the England International can be a difference-maker at the club.
“At United, Sancho gets an opportunity to play and he can be a real influence and help them out,” he told 888sport.
“It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and players look at the future and how a team is trying to play.
“They want to talk to the manager as well about the prospects of the club. Probably every club will tell him the same story. But when you look at him and what he can do he can be a real big influence at United should he go there.”
The 19-year-old is said to be keen on leaving Westfalenstadion in the summer. The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are all in the race for his signature.
Sancho has scored 30 and set up 40 goals in 86 appearances for Borussia after joining BVB from City’s academy in 2017, including 16 strikes and 17 assists in 31 outings this season.
