Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has fired a veiled barb at controversial super-agent Mino Raiola for his latest comments on the club’s treatment of his client Paul Pogba.
“I don’t have to comment through the media on Mino and what he says. I can probably speak to him myself,” the Norwegian told Sky Sports after our win at Stamford Bridge.
When pressed whether he would talk to Raiola, Solskjaer’s answer was a laconic “Probably not!”
“You know the media and you cannot control that anyway,” the manager went on.
“Anyone has a voice and an opinion. There are things being said about us where you want to comment, but you would rather not. And it’s more clever you don’t comment on many different things.”
Mino Raiola is obviously trying to force the club to sell Paul Pogba in the summer, with Juventus and Real Madrid mentioned as the most possible destinations.
It remains to be seen whether the World Cup winner will play a part for the club during the remainder of the season.
