According to report by the Independent, Manchester United have identified two names for the role of a club technical director.

Further details of the report from the media outlet claims that the club are strongly considering two targets: former Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Antero Henrique and Ralf Rangnick, who oversees Red Bull’s sport and development football program.

Sources claim that United have entered advanced talks with Henrique, with those close to the 51-year-old Portuguese expecting a deal very soon.

Meanwhile, it is believed that the club’s powerbrokers prefer Ex-RB Leipzig coach Rangnick who was also rumoured to be a potential replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

It’s understood, however, that whatever the choice will be, vice-chairman Ed Woodward and Matt Judge will remain key figures in transfer negotiations.
