Captain Harry Maguire has talked up about his defensive partnership with Victor Lindelof. Both players have become the mainstay of our defence.
The England International has started all 25 of our Premier League games this season, while the Swede has played 23 of them.
The Englishman believes his partnership with the Swede is only going to improve with time.
“It’s been brilliant [playing with Victor], we’ve had a good season up to now together,” Maguire said.
“When you form partnerships, it takes time. I’m learning his game and he’s learning mine and I think we’re getting better.
“It’s a partnership that’s building and I think we’ll get better and better, and start keeping more clean sheets like we have been doing recently.”
Our defence will be put to the test away to Chelsea on Monday night in the Premier League as we look to boost our top-four chances.
We are currently six points behind fourth-placed Frank Lampard’s side and can halve the deficit with a victory at Stamford Bridge on Monday Night.
