Academy graduate Mason Greenwood has said he models his game after former Red Devils striker Robin van Persie as he hopes to be as good as the Dutchman.
The 18-year-old has been brilliant by putting in some eye-catching displays for the club, scoring 10 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions.
Greenwood has been compared to Dutch forward Robin van Persie in terms of his playing style, both predominantly using their left foot, and having a natural instinct for goalscoring. Earlier in the season, the ex-Arsenal striker joked that the United youngster is trying to copy him in terms of his technique and way of finishing
“I like taking people on, doing skills. Obviously people think that I’m similar to Van Persie, so I want to be like him one day.”
