New signing Bruno Fernandes has said he is a lot better now after manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed that the midfielder was disappointed with his debut.
Asked whether United’s warm-weather training camp in Marbella will give Fernandes a chance to integrate, Solskjaer told MUTV:
“Yeah, definitely. I’ve kept in touch with him. He’s had a few days back home to organise.
“He’s going to have to move and say his goodbyes back home, so he’s ready. He wasn’t 100 per cent happy with his debut and there’s more to come, so that’s a good sign.”
On Monday evening, the player shared a post on his fitness levels as he starts to settle into life at a new club.
“Feeling good and getting stronger here in Marbella with the rest of the lads!” he told his followers on Instagram.
The Portuguese will surely feature against Chelsea and in our Europa League game against FC Club Brugge.
