Rashford sends important message to teammates after United’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City

Striker Marcus Rashford has urged his teammates to find consistency in their performance as a team in order to give Manchester United better chances of winning games.

The club secured a morale-boosting 2-1 win over Manchester City that helped us close the gap on fourth-placed Chelsea to five points.

“Now the team should find consistency,” Rashford is quoted by BBC.

“We could have had more goals and really seen the game out. It is a tough win and sometimes they do more for you as a team and will help us going forward.

“That first 30 minutes was terrific and what we played to do, the challenge is if we can do that for 80 or 90 minutes.”

At the end, Rashford went to the away fans to celebrate.

He said: “It’s class, nothing gets better than that feeling. You can’t top that. Happy for fans but the challenge is [to] keep that consistency.”

The England International was on the scoresheet as we beat City 2-1 at the Etihad.
