Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has revealed that United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also has the “hairdryer treatment” element in him.
The ‘hairdryer’ is feature Fergie’s coaching style used to fire up underperforming players.
England international Lingard told UTD Podcast about Solskjaer:
“He has a little hairdryer in him. Just a little one! It’s good, though, and things like that can always help.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been accused of damaging the club’s global brand.
Speaking on talkSPORT, former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan said: “This is a powerhouse of a football club that isn’t performing on the pitch. Currently, Man United are able to command and demand these enormous revenues associated with the club.
“But if that continues to be diminished by a lack of achievement on the pitch with a B-rate manager managing an iconic brand, then it will land. And then other clubs will be the ones getting the world-record shirt deals, because Manchester United will lose its lustre.
“It will happen in the end if they continue to patronise a la-la land thinking around a B-rate manager. I don’t have any agenda against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer personally, I don’t know him, I think he’s a very lucky Norwegian to have got the job.”
