Former United forward Alan Brazil hss relayes that he has doubts about Ole Gunner Solskjaer’s ability to deliver at the club despite being a fan of the Norwegian’s work.

Speaking about the 46-year-old’s future, the talkSPORT host said:

“I’d love, for what [Solskjaer’s] done for the club, I’d love him to be a hero and take them on to great things – I don’t see it.

“I don’t think he will be there at the end of the season. I think Poch, if he’s not too tired and needs a holiday. I think he’d just get more out of them. They were shocking first half [vs Sheffield Utd].

“It’s horrible to say because he’s been great for the club and he’s a lovely guy by all accounts, and I want him to do well, but I just think they need a big name that the players will sit up let them play.”

The club are 9th in the Premier League table following Sunday’s dramatic 3-3 draw away at Sheffield United.

Solskjaer’s job reportedly depends on whether he can secure a place in the next season’s Champions League.
