Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea had to wobble out of the pitch in Spain’s 1-1 draw with Sweden.

De Gea lasted an hour on the pitch and had to be subbed off after tweaking his ankle, with Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga coming on in his stead.

De Gea could not keep out Marcus Berg’s scrappy goal just ten minutes before he was forced off in Stockholm, and replays show Manchester United goalie appeared to have tweaked a muscle in his leg while clearing the ball for Spain before dropping to the ground in pain.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will definitely be sweating over his first choice goalkeeper’s fitness and Sergio Romero will be preparing for his first league action against Liverpool on Sunday.
