Manchester United is currently struggling at the moment, and United’s transfer dealings have been criticised by many associated with the club.
Bobby Jenks has now revealed that legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been left confused by Manchester United’s disinterest in signing Aston Villa star John McGinn – a promising player he recommended to the club.
According to Jenks, Ferguson is a big fan of McGinn and will be re-iterating to United that they should sign the Scotsman.
“He’s up there with the best-performing midfielders in the division,” Jenks told the Athletic about McGinn.
“Wait until he’s had a year at that level and then we can say more.
“What I do know is that Sir Alex Ferguson is wondering why Manchester United let a talented Scottish boy slip through. ‘He’ll be keeping a close eye on him that’s for sure and if he continues the way he is, you can bet he’ll be telling his pals at United, too.”
