Manchester United will follow up the 4-0 win against Chelsea with a trip to the Molineux to face Nuno Espirito Santos’ side Wolves.
Ahead of our game against Wolves on Monday at the Molineux, a number of top pundits have given their predictions.
Here are the predictions by top pundits:
Charlie Nicholas predicted Wolves 2-1 United
He told Sky Sports: “Nuno Espirito Santo has the energy, drive and passion for the crowd, with Manchester United coming off the back of a 4-0 victory, almost a hallucination is the best way to describe that result. Chelsea could have easily scored two or three. I am still not convinced by Manchester United and I would still sell Paul Pogba.”
“United got a great result against Chelsea but let’s see if they can build on it over the course of the campaign. To do that, they will need to find a way to beat teams like Wolves, who are well organised and will sit in and nullify United’s threat on the counter-attack. There is no way this match will be as wide open as Sunday’s game at Old Trafford was.”
Michael Owenpredicted Wolves 1-1 United
The BetVictor brand ambassador said: “United were excellent in the second half against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday. But they are in for a tough test at Molineux against a Wolves side who were, arguably, unlucky not to take all three points at the King Power Stadium on Sunday. It is a game I don’t think the hosts will lose and we will know more about United’s top-four credentials after their trip to the Black Country.”
