Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given hope to United Brazilian midfielder Fred by insisting the player will receive game time and sure believes in his ability.
Fred lost his place in the team last season and was scared of hid position going into the new season. He wasn’t utilised for the win against Chelsea on Sunday, but Solskjaer insists that the Brazilian is part of his plans.
Solskjaer said: “Your team will always play better if players are settled and have a good foundation and not conceding goals and good teams.
“I played in we always had a strong base, a keeper, settled backline and we hope to provide that for our attackers and midfielders. We believe Fred is going to have a big season as well.”
It was believed that the Brazilian is the fifth-choice midfielder at the club but Solskjaer should be good music in the player’s ears.
