Former Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho has urged the club to strive to win Europa League this season as he did during his first season at the club.
The Portuguese also said that a top-four finish should be the club’s aim for the new campaign, but more expediently creating a good atmosphere in the dressing room should be paramount.
“As a start, you need Europa League,” Mourinho told Sky Sports. “When you go to a competition that doesn’t belong to you, you have to win.
“Then in the Premier League, obviously the dressing room must feel unified. If they don’t feel it they are in trouble. If they finish in the top four it is a good season.”
