According to reports, Leicester City defender Harry Maguire is gradually losing it as his club continue to frustrate his desire to join Manchester United.
The player has been left out of the Foxes squad for their friendly against Atalanta as he is not in the right frame of mind to play as a result of speculations surrounding his future.
The 26-year-old has made it clear enough that he wants to join United this summer, but time is running out for the clubs to reach an agreement with just days remaining of the transfer window.
While United are only willing to pay £80million for Maguire – which would break the world-record transfer fee for a defender – the Foxes are holding out for at least £85m from their Premier League rivals.
The Foxes are not ready to bulge on their valuation of the player which is frustrating for Maguire.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio had claimed that the club were in the final stages of an agreement for Maguire. However, Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers refuted claims that Manchester United have almost completed a deal for Maguire.
He told BBC Sport: “I’m obviously relaxed with it. It is what it is. The player has been first class with his attitude in his training. The club hasn’t changed its stance in terms of the valuation for the player.”
