Manchester United academy product Marcus Rashford is confident that the club can finally rediscover their attacking identity under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer next season.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the England International said: “The identity is there.
“It doesn’t leave, you just have to find it within yourself. We have to come together as a team to show people what we’re capable of.
“This season especially I think we have to concentrate on ourselves and playing like we’re enjoying our football.”
Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, we have somehow lost our identity and are no longer a real threat both domestically and continentally with our last league title won in 2013.
Hopefully, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can lead us to being formidable as he prepares the team for the new season.
ESPN FC pundit Steve Nicol believes United have made some massive signings this summer and has backed Wan-Bissaka to shine.
“If you’re a Manchester United fan, you look at Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whether you think he’s overpriced or not, and you look at Harry Maguire, whether you think he’s overpriced or not, you’ve just strengthened your back line big time.
“54 goals they conceded last year. 54. That’s incredible. But now, you have three of a back five where you know exactly what you’re getting from them, you can rely on them. So, for me, the team is absolutely, with Wan-Bissaka and Maguire, are miles better than what they were.”
