According to report, Juventus are really keen on signing striker, Romelu Lukaku from the club.
The club has been involved in talks with the Italian Champions over a possible swap deal involving Paulo Dybala and the Belgian striker.
Fresh report from La Gazzetta dello Sport has hinted that the Biaconeri are considering throwing in striker Mario Mandzukic in order to sweeten the deal for the club. Apparently, adding the 33-year-old would facilitate the deal.
However, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has remained coy on the club’s reported swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku and Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.
When asked about the possibility of the deal, the Norwegian told MEN: “I’m not here to talk about any rumours or speculation about other team’s players.
“But of course we’re working on one or two cases, as I’ve said before. There’s another ten days before we start the league and hopefully we can announce a fresh face or two.”
Speaking ahead of the new season, Solskjaer has also revealed where he wants Manchester United to improve.
“We’re getting closer and closer to the game against Chelsea on August 11, so of course we want to see improvements in our performance and concentration,” Solskjaer said, as cited by MEN.
“To be clinical in front of goal and score goals, because that’s one part we need to improve on, taking our chances and scoring goals.”
