Former Manchester United and Real Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he still misses Manchester, and also Madrid.
The Portuguese superstar was back in Madrid to receive Marca Leyenda, an award given to the best sport professionals in history. The player also expressed his feelings by stating that he still has fond memories of both cities.
Here are his words:
He said: “I miss Manchester and Madrid, but my children and my girl grew up here, so I miss Madrid more. This trophy is going to be in a very nice place in my museum. Madrid is special. I travel a lot but there are few cities like Madrid. Much of this award is derived from what I did at [Real] Madrid.”
Ronaldo spent seven successful years at Manchester playing for us, while he spent nine successful years playing playing for Real Madrid.
