Manchester United target Moussa Dembele has opened up on his future after Lyon’s 2-1 win over Arsenal in a pre-season friendly. The French striker has been sounded out as a possible replacement for wantaway striker, Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian has been linked with a move to either Inter Milan or Juventus.
The 23-year-old Dembele scored a brace in the 2-1 victory over Arsenal in the Emirates Cup on Sunday.
When quizzed on the game against the Gunners, and also on his future, he revealed that he was pleased with the win and his performance.
“The most important thing is that we won,” Dembele replied, as cited by the Mirror. “I want to be an undisputed starter this season.
“I’m going to have perform well consistently. I want to have a great season with Lyon.”
The Frenchman joined the Ligue 1 side from Celtic in a £19.8m deal in the summer of 2018. He scored 20 goals in his first season at the Groupama Stadium.
