According to Italian based outlet Calciomercato, the agent of one of our targets flew into London on Friday to negotiate the final details of the deal with Manchester United’s representatives.
Matej Kezman who is the agent of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been reportedly spotted in England as a deal sets to be in view.
The club is said to be ready to pay €75m plus a series of bonuses that could reach €15m. Lazio, however, are unwilling to accept the offer yet. The Serie A side want some easy payable bonuses to be included in the deal rising its worth up to €80m + €10m in add ons.
Meanwhile ESPN FC pundit Shaka Hislop has urged United to sell Romelu Lukaku to Juventus and take Dybala in exchange.
He said: “Absolutely [United should do the swap deal]. I would do this in the morning. I like Dybala a lot. I think he’s an incredible finisher.
“He hasn’t had the best of times at Juventus and has seen himself deemed surplus to requirements. But as a finisher, when he’s on form and playing with confidence, I don’t think there are many in world football better than him.
“Given the way United play, where you do have possession very close to the box, where maybe Lukaku’s own strength is running in behind defenders with open space, he doesn’t have that many opportunities. [So] Dybala is a far better fit. I would do this as quickly as anybody would offer it.”
