Sky Sports reporter, Kaveh Solhekol has added vibes to ESPN’s latest report on the possibility of Paul Pogba signing for Madrid in what will trigger the club’s move for Lazio midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic -Savic.
Real Madrid are increasingly confident of signing Pogba this summer. Meanwhile, United are working on a possible replacement for the World Cup winner. Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is said to be on United’s wishlist.
“He also goes on to say that there are negotiations ongoing between Manchester United and Lazio for Milinkovic-Savic, the midfielder, to go from Lazio to Manchester United. He is saying he would cost about £70m,” Solhekol said on Friday’s Transfer Talk show.
“The information we were getting was that Milinkovic-Savic is not really at the top of their list of targets at the moment. But according to Marc Behrenbeck, who’s very well connected when it comes to international transfers, momentum in Real Madrid trying to sign Pogba and also United trying to sign Savic from Lazio.”
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has suggested his club could finally sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba before the end of August.
When asked about the possibility of Real Madrid signing Pogba this summer, Zidane replied: “We need to respect everybody, but the only thing I can say from the club is we know what we want to do.
“Something could happen before the end of August. We could have some changes.”
