The future of Manchester United star Paul Pogba has been up in the air since the end of last season, and it’s yet to be seen if Pogba will remain at the club next season or leave this summer.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is keen on signing Pogba, but Manchester United aren’t willing to let the star midfielder leave the club.

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has revealed that midfielder, Paul Pogba will end up signing for Madrid in the coming weeks.

“I’ve just got a message from one of our reporters in Sky Germany, Marc Behrenbeck, who deals a lot with international transfers,” he said on Friday’s Transfer Talk show. “He’s just sent us a message to say that there is momentum in the possible transfer of Paul Pogba to Real Madrid.

“That’s what he understands, momentum from Real Madrid trying to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.”

Former Liverpool player, Danny Murphy has advised Manchester United not to keep Pogba against his will.

“If Pogba leaves Man Utd this summer then it could cause a series of transfers to take place. Certain teams have expressed an interest in Pogba and if they miss out on him, then those big teams will start to look elsewhere,” Murphy told bwin.

“Eriksen is a very different player to Pogba, but he could be a backup option for a team if they fail to sign Pogba. Then Tottenham and Utd will be in the market for replacements and it has a tumbling effect.

“Man Utd won’t let Pogba leave if they’re not given enough time to find a replacement. The main issue Utd have is that they need a midfielder who can come in and score and assist the number of goals he has. Solskjaer may believe that he can get the best out of Pogba again, but if he really wants to leave then it’s better to sell him.

“You don’t want a player who doesn’t want to be at the club, as it affects the whole team. If every player isn’t singing from the same hymn sheet, then it can divide the whole team and produce bad performances. It’s better to get rid of them as soon as possible.

“If Man Utd let Pogba leave for a hefty fee, then clubs will instantly add a large sum on to any player Utd try to replace him with. The longer they leave it, the more expensive it’s going to be. If Pogba looks set to leave, then Utd need to bring a replacement in before he does.”
