Reports according to local newspaper Gunes have revealed that Turkish club Galatasaray want Manchester United midfielder Fred on loan.
Fred joined Manchester United from Ukraine club Shakhtar Donetsk last summer and made just 17 appearances in the league as he struggled to impress after his move to the Premier League.
The Turkish league champions have had their opening loan offer rejected, but are considering sending another proposal to the club.
The Turkish side are guaranteed Champions League football this campaign and they hope to lure Fred with. Manchester United are not actually open to letting 26-year-old leave either permanently or temporarily.
The Brazilian joined this club last summer from Ukrainian side, Shaktar Donetsk for £52m. Though he has endured a difficult time at the club, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping the player can turn things around and hit top form.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are considering making a move for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele if Inter Milan completes a move for United striker Romelu Lukaku.
The 23 year old striker impressed during his time at Fulham and Celtic before joining French club Lyon a year ago. He has impressed since his move to Lyon, scoring 20 goals in 46 appearances for the French side.
