According to reports, Manchester United to continue their pursuit of Sporting midfielder, Bruno Fernandes.
The 24-year-old who has been stunning for the Portuguese side is unlikely to join Man United this summer. United don’t seem interested enough in the player despite numerous previous reports suggesting otherwise.
Fernandes has been scouted by United, but he is not among priority signings even though the Reds would love to sign a central midfielder.
Sporting Lisbon president Frederico Varandas Bruno is expecting to make big bucks from the player’s sale and he is adamant Fernandes won’t be sold on the cheap.
Varandas said: “We are always subject to the transfer market. We’re would not accept a €62m bid. We have not yet had concrete proposals.”
Manchester United have only completed two signings this summer – James Daniel and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be keen for more deals before the transfer window closes next month.
