Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is concerned about his future. He feels he’ll be the one to make way if United succeed in signing Harry Maguire.
United Executive Vice Chariman, Ed Woodward is in the UK to seal the some transfer signings for the club before the close of the Premier league transfer window.
Already, the club have signed Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James so far this summer and Woodward will now focus on completing deals for Maguire and at least one midfielder.
The Red Devils have been frustrated by Leicester’s £80m valuation of Maguire but remain positive that they can get the England International.
Bailly’s injury issues and inconsistent form are against him in United defensive rating. As such the player is feeling the possibility of being jettisoned out of the club.
Another Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is proving to be a good signing for the club.
Wan-Bissaka played for an hour against Inter before he was substituted by Ashley Young, and United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pleased with his performance.
“We’re building a team and Wan-Bissaka did really well today,” Solskjaer said after the Inter clash.
“He’s hard to go past and he was going forward as well, so I’m very pleased with his performance and the team’s performance.
“We’ve had three games and not conceded any goals, so we’re looking strong as a defensive unit.
“You can see the confidence grow in him (Wan-Bissaka). He’s been here two weeks and he’s made an impact on the squad and supporters. He’s got things to learn, he’s only 21 still but he’s got a great chance to have a long, good career ahead of him.”
