Manchester United sensational youngster, Mason Greenwood will be offered a new and improved contract at the club on after his impressive form during our pre-season tour.
The 17-year-old has been one of United’s standout performers featuring in all three of their matches and scoring against both Leeds United and Inter Milan.
Following his match-winning strike against Inter, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has even likened the player to former teammate, Ryan Giggs. The Norwegian also hinted that he could play against Chelsea in our opening Premier League game.
With Solskjaer a huge admirer of Greenwood’s talents, the United youngster is set to rewarded with a new deal before his 18th birthday in October which will see his current £800 weekly wages increased greatly.
Earlier this month, Solskjaer insisted Greenwood is ready for more first-team football, saying: “Mason will definitely play more games.
“He has grown over the summer and I think his confidence has grown too after the Cardiff game, as he was our best player.”
