Manchester United secured a 2-1 win over Spurs in the International Champions Cup. The game was a feisty affair as tackles flew over the pitch.

The physicality of Spurs was much to the disgust of our fans, especially Moussa Sissoko’s horrible tackle on new signing, Daniel James.

Here are how our fans reacted to it:

“That was disgusting by Sissoko,” said one fan.

“Why are Spurs playing so dirty for? Sissoko stamp and Alli trying to wipe every one of our players off their feet. Looks quite pathetic in pre-season,” added another

“Sissoko stamped on him there!!!! What are these Tottenham players even doing,” said a third.

“Sissoko deserves a red and suspension,” said one supporter.

Another said: “Don’t care if it’s preseason, totally uncalled for. Just as bad as what happened to the Liverpool kid. Intentionally stomping on a player after bashing him in the back has no place in the game.

“What is wrong with Spurs? So so dirty. Sissoko would be given a straight red for that in the PL with VAR active. He stomped on James,” said another Manchester United fan.

Manchester United have had a perfect pre-season so far, winning all their games and United next play Kristiansund on Tuesday, August 30.
