Recent reports have claimed that Spanish giants Real Madrid have resurrected their pursuit of Paul Pogba as they look to finalise the deal before the Premier League transfer window shuts down on August 8.
The La Liga side are willing to pay up to €150 million for the Frenchman and offer him a massive wage package.
However, it remains to be seen whether Madrid’s incoming offer would convince the Red Devils to let the World Cup winner go.
The French man and his super agent, Mino Raiola have voiced the player’s desire to leave the club and seek a new challenge.
United have been stubborn about selling their star midfielder and have placed a high valuation on him to fend off interested clubs. But it appears that Madrid are not deterred and are keen to seal a deal for the player.
United will only accept a bid for Pogba in excess of £170 million, reports claim.
When asked about the possibility of Real Madrid signing Pogba this summer, Zidane replied: “We need to respect everybody, but the only thing I can say from the club is we know what we want to do.
“Something could happen before the end of August. We could have some changes.”
