Manchester United have accelerated talks with Lille to sign winger, Nicolas Pepe, according to reports.

Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool are also to be interested and even made offers for the forward according to reports from the French media.

The 24-year-old Ivorian has been impressive, and also starred for the French club last season scoring 22 goals in the Ligue 1.

Lille value the player at £70million as the player is in high demand. United will hope to conclude a deal for the rising start ahead of their Premier league rivals, reports claim.

Manchester United have only made two signings this summer and the club will be pushing to make more signings before the transfer window closes next month.

One of the summer signings Aaron Wan-Bissaka is already making himself a fans favourite with brilliant performances on Manchester United’s right flank and the summer signing put in another good performance against Inter.

The right-back’s standout moment came in the second half as he lost possession to Dalbert on United’s right wing.

The Brazilian had at least a six-yard head start on Wan Bissaka as he raced towards United’s box with the ball but Wan-Bissaka showed excellent pace to catch up with Inter’s left-back and stopped him in his tracks with a brilliant sliding recovery tackle.

And United fans flooded Twitter with their praise for Wan-Bissaka.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was full of praise for the young right-back.

“We’re building a team and Wan-Bissaka did really well today,” Solskjaer said.

“He’s hard to go past and he was going forward as well, so I’m very pleased with his performance and the team’s performance.

“We’ve had three games and not conceded any goals, so we’re looking strong as a defensive unit.

“You can see the confidence grow in him (Wan-Bissaka). He’s been here two weeks and he’s made an impact on the squad and supporters. He’s got things to learn, he’s only 21 still but he’s got a great chance to have a long, good career ahead of him.”
