Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has suggested his club could finally sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba before the end of August.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer, three years after re-joining the club from Juventus.

Juventus are also reportedly interested in the France international

Real Madrid have already signed Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo but Zidane is still keen on signing Pogba.

When asked about the possibility of Real Madrid signing Pogba this summer, Zidane replied: “We need to respect everybody, but the only thing I can say from the club is we know what we want to do.

“Something could happen before the end of August. We could have some changes.”

Pogba revealed last month that he could leave Manchester United this summer: “I think for me, it can be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he intends keeping Pogba at the club having used the midfielder in friendlies against Perth Glory, Leeds United and Inter.

“I can give him a new challenge,” Solskjaer said of Pogba earlier this week.
