Inter Milan have seen an offer of €60m (£54m) for Romelu Lukaku rejected by Manchester United, according to BBC’s Simon Stone.
The Red Devils are still maintaining on their stance of £75m valuation for the Belgian according to the report.
Lukaku has so far not played any of United’s pre-season against Perth Glory, Leeds United and now Inter Milan.
While Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to say the Belgian is not fit enough to participate, there are reports over Rom’s inevitable exit from Old Trafford this summer
Meanwhile, former England boss Sam Allardyce has urged Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to replace Lukaku with former Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
“I think he’d be a fit for United if they got rid of Lukaku,” talkSPORT host Alan Brazil said of Costa. “Lukaku by all accounts this morning, representatives of Inter Milan are talking to Manchester United.
“If you were a manager of Manchester United, you would not sell him.”
To which Allardyce replied: “Lukaku? No. Not unless I was getting Costa. I might say yes to that.”
