Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given his thoughts on the future of young goalkeeper, Dean Henderson.
It is believed the player will rejoin the squad for pre-season training which is quite shocking, owing to the fact the player will go back possibly on loan at Sheffield.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explained the reason for this decision:
“Well, at the moment he’s back in England training. He had a 10-day break after he trained for us their first week, he needed a break after the Under-21s.
“Of course, we’re debating whether he should travel and come with us or stay and train in England. I thought maybe it was best for him to come here.”
David De Gea didn’t play Leeds United even though he had been supposed to.
Ole said on the day: “David [de Gea] has a temperature and fever that built up today, so didn’t want to risk him getting worse. Hopefully he’ll play against Inter. And Lee’s injured, so we’ve only got two ‘keepers.”
